Planned to help demonstrate how silicone hydrogel daily disposable lenses can benefit patients with demanding and fast-paced lifestyles, CooperVision’s new series of ‘Ready for Today’ events will feature telling insights into existing consumer behaviour.
Commissioned by CooperVision and delivered by independent research body, Cello Health Insight, a recent study revealed a number of interesting findings including how two thirds of consumers would like to know about new products; 66% of people would be likely to upgrade if their practitioner recommended it; 8 out of 10 consumers would be likely to upgrade to a lens that was healthier for their eyes and more than 50% of consumers admit to napping in their lenses.
Commencing on Tuesday 2nd February at the At-Bristol Science Museum, Bristol, the series of events will feature esteemed speaker, Professor Philip Morgan, Professor of Optometry and Director of Eurolens Research at The University of Manchester. Professor Morgan will be speaking on ‘Stepping up to the demands of today’s contact lens wearers’ whilst delegates will also be given the opportunity to join in discussion workshops to earn up to 5 CET points. The events will then continue at The Jaguar Experience in Birmingham on Wednesday 3rd February and culminate at Hotel Football, Manchester on Tuesday 9th February, following the same format.
