Using the showroom
Open something
Tap a lens. Sections burst open into a new ring of lenses; modules open in a framed viewer inside the app.
Look around
Drag anywhere to spin the ring, and let go to let it coast. Left alone it turns slowly by itself.
Go back a level
Pinch with three fingers to step back up the menu — the same as the Back chip, without reaching for it.
The chips, top right
Back retraces one step, Home returns to the top of the menu, and Exit closes the session and returns to the welcome screen.
The caption bar
Whatever is highlighted is described along the bottom of the screen. Highlight without opening by hovering on a desktop, or by waiting — see below.
Modules and links
Most open in the framed viewer, with Back to return. Some sites refuse to be framed and come up blank — use New tab in the viewer bar for those. A few links open in a new tab from the start.
The bubbles
Tap any open space and a bubble is released there, rising to join the drifting field behind the menu.
Two looks
The ◑ button switches between the pale brand theme and the dark immersive one. The choice sticks on this iPad until it is changed again.
Left alone
After a quiet spell the hub highlights its own items in turn, so there is always something to look at. Touching the screen hands control straight back.
Tilt it
The scene leans with the iPad. Allow motion access the first time it is asked for, and the whole view gains a little depth.
Nothing here can be broken — Home always returns to the top of the menu, and Exit starts the whole experience over.
