For the second year running, CooperVision is sponsoring Optometry Giving Sight’s raffle at the prestigious AOP Awards in November. Last year’s raffle raised over £1,000 for the charity, and CooperVision, a Platinum Global sponsor of Optometry Giving Sight, hopes that the excellent prizes on offer this year will help to double last year’s total.

The holder of the first ticket drawn will win the top prize of a 16GB wifi iPad mini (RRP £269.00); the second lucky winner will take home a Panasonic Lumix DMC-XS3 Compact Digital Camera (RRP £119.99); and the winner of the third prize will be the envy of chocolate lovers everywhere, receiving a Thorntons ‘I love chocolate’ hamper (RRP £30.00).

“We strongly value our relationship with Optometry Giving Sight, and are pleased to be able to contribute to their vital cause through supporting the raffle for a second year,” said Rob Healey, Marketing Manager, CooperVision. “We are certain that the excellent prizes up for grabs this year will really make a difference to Optometry Giving Sight being able to raise much-needed funds to help those in desperate need of eye care.”

In thanking CooperVision, Georgina Woolfrey said that raffle tickets will be available on the night of the awards from Optometry Giving Sight staff, and all proceeds will help to fund sustainable eye and vision care projects in underserved communities.
